We focus on water-wise landscaping and sustainable practices wherever possible. 

We use no pesticides or fungicides. 

We amend every planting bed with a certified topsoil/compost mix, put the right plant in the right place, and mulch each installation.

We offer rain barrel and rain garden installation.

We encourage the Permaculture concept of landscaping in zones, from highest maintenance to lowest, reducing the use of resources like water, gas and electricity.

We encourage composting, edible landscaping, creating animal habitats and finding alternatives to turf-grass.

We even drive a hybrid to appointments!

Green Heron Landscaping is proud to be an active part of the "Triangle" area of North Carolina.  We work in communities such as Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Durham, Chapel Hill, Holly Springs, Morrisville, Garner, Wake Forest  and Fuquay-Varina.
